I hope you’re not trying to download the framework directly on the mobile. That might not work since I don’t think Opera mobile support large downloads. Secondly, you’ll have to install it via ActiveSync from the PC because that’s how Microsoft intended it to be. As for speed issues, here are a few things that worked for me:

1. Ensure there aren’t any or atleast few apps running in the background.
2. Its Windows Mobile, you know what that means right? Soft reset it on a weekly basis.

Ok so i have the HTC touch pro and im trying to download the .net 3.5 framework and it takes FOREVER to download and once it gets to the end it does nothing i dont know what to do i need that update but this phone SUCKS it is sooo slow it lags way to much it freeses time to time and the thing cost 400 bucks tell me is there a way to make this thing go alot faster

why don’t you use gettext? This is THE opensource approach for creating multilingual applications. We created a little script simplifying the tasks for setting up gettext. Have look here:

Hi, I’m also working in a Japanese application, my problem is when I read an external XML all the Japanese characters become “?” symbols…

I tried to use HTTPService and URLRequest whitout success…

It is a solution for this?

HI,

I am facing the same problem with embeding fonts. Japanese characters are not being rendered. As bigduke mentioned that if i use a non-embeded font, the client will pick up the multibyte characters from the systems. So how do i use non-embeded fonts?

Look guys I would like to say I’m a kinda a wiz at these types if things, umm I have a little expierence in the whole hacking thing ( even though this isn’t hacking) but any who!?!? What I need to know is that once you jail break there’s no possible way to get it back to factory setting, or to the point where your worrinty won’t be voided, because to be honest this shit makes no sense to me….. But another question is does any one know of a few fellow MCG’s or what ever these script kiddies call us know a days!?!? I’ve been out of the whole computer/consel/gaming soldiering or ” hacking” thing for a lack of a better word.
